If you were the starlight in my eyes

For aim of finding you I would never hide

And if all the hopes

Should fail to spark and revive

Just one glimpse of you

Would make my sea tide

If I were a bonfire in your mind

For fear of darkening you I would stay ignited

And if every word

Should cease to shine its light

Just one breath of you

Would make my poem bright

If you were the starlight in my eyes

For aim of finding you I would never hide

And if all the hopes

Should fail to spark and revive

Just one glimpse of you

Would make my sea tide

If I were a bonfire in your mind
